Rostelecom’s Apr–June IFRS net profit soars 46% to 11.2 bln rbl
MOSCOW, Aug 5 (PRIME) -- The net profit of Russian state-controlled telecom and digital company Rostelecom increased by 46% on the year to 11.174 billion rubles in April–June, as calculated under International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), the company said on Thursday in a statement.
Revenue rose by 9% to 138.589 billion rubles.
Operating income before depreciation and amortization (OIBDA) added 15% to 55.938 billion rubles, the OIBDA margin went up by 2.1 percentage points to 40.4%.
In January–June, the net profit rose by 52% on the year to 22.984 billion rubles. Revenue rose by 9% to 270.547 billion rubles. OIBDA grew by 16% to 111.375 billion rubles, and the OIBDA margin added 2.7 percentage points to 41.2%.
Rostelecom kept its 2021 revenue guidance at 5% minimum and improved the OIBDA guidance to 8–10%. Capital expenditures are seen at 110–115 billion rubles, excluding state programs.
